Bryan Holt is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Sunnyvale, CA who attends St. Francis. Large frame with long limbs and beginnings of strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. High leg lift and stays tall on back side at gather. Utilized drop and drive lower half actions while landing in line with the plate on front side. Long, loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball showed good jump out hand with heavy downhill plane in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 81 miles per hour. Breaking ball showed proper shape with good depth in the upper 60's. Flashed sharper depth when maintaining arm speed through extension. Also showed a changeup offering in the upper 60's that created some sink to the bottom of the zone. Also worked out defensively from first base displaying deliberate, smooth paced footwork while centering the baseball. Funnels out front cleanly and worked through exchange well. Produced accurate carry across the infield topping at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Stays balanced and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Coils hands slightly at load and works to baseball on a loose hand path. Employed a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension flashing present bat speed and strength. Primarily looked to work to the middle of the field, but flashed the ability to turn the barrel and work to pull side as well.
