Wehiwa Aloy is a 2022 2B/SS with a 5-5 105 lb. frame from Wailuku, HI who attends Henry Perrine Baldwin. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill and grow throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.41 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet with short and quick footwork, fields the ball out front and works behind the ball well, shows feel for actions and ability to repeat, quick transfer and gets on top of throws with accuracy, arm strength will continue to develop moving forward with physical development. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Stays short to the ball and keeps hands inside, contact oriented approach and works the middle and opposite parts of the field well. Bat speed will continue to develop, shows plane and hits the ball out front with a handle for the barrel. Very good student.
