Jordan Kang is a 2022 3B/RHP, 2B, SS, OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Porter Ranch, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, works on top of throws well and comes through the backhand nicely with footwork, present arm strength and carry across the diamond. Showed best from the outfield, long strides moving towards the ball, fields the ball out front and shows a full arm action through the back, extended at release and ball carries with accuracy to the bag. Also pitched, simple and up-tempo delivery, long and smooth arm action through the back with nice arm speed. Good direction down the mound; fastball topped out at 83 mph, comes out with low effort and showed occasional cut. Tight rotation to curveball with 12-6 shape up to 83 mph. Filled the zone with both pitches. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow base and utilizes a short shift moving into contact. Loads hands back at start of swing but shows quickness to them and creates separation, creates torque and stays shortr to the ball, looks to elevate at the point of contact. Very good student. Named to 14u National Top Prospect List.
