Ty Hodge is a 2021 SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends College Station. Athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Very good runner, 6.52 in the sixty, has loose hips on defense and moves well, fields the ball out front with good hands, lower release slot on his throws with some carry across, can see him working at second base in the future with his skills and tools. Right handed hitter, deep hand load with a leg lift trigger, has good quickness to his hands and present bat speed, gets some jump off the barrel, consistent timing and swing mechanics, polished hitter with a feel for the barrel. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
