Hutch Ezell is a 2022 C/UT with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Mill Creek. Solid athletic build with present strength and room for plenty more, has long arms for his height. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a good lower half shift into contact, has rhythm in his load and swing, gets behind the ball well and generates bat speed, pull side approach with some lift and power to it, has the tools and swing to keep improving as a hitter. 7.00 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions behind the plate defensively, compact arm action on his throws with some carry and good accuracy, arm projects well, will be challenged to stay behind the plate if he gets any taller with his arm/leg length but is plenty athletic for other positions, especially if he bat continues to improve.
