Maximos Hagler is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Yakima, WA who attends East Valley. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.50 seconds. Hits from open-based stance with higher hands, bars hands deep into load and wraps bat, pulls hip further open through stride and tends to yank barrel through off-plane, shows some bat speed, pull-side approach due to lower half direction, flashed occasional pop to pull side. Worked out behind the plate, good balance to easy set up, good receiver with soft hands and understanding of framing, quick transfer, gains ground well, solid arm strength with pop time as low as 2.07 seconds to 2nd base. Very good student.
