2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Brody Kraft is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Fernandina Beach, FL who attends Yulee. Medium frame with lean current build, wiry strength and time to grow and add more physicality but has quick twitch actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 6.58 seconds. Primary position outfielder, working methodically through his reps with calculated footwork. Works the glove nicely out front off lead foot into longer release. Clean inline arm path, ball jumps out of the hand with accurate one hop feeds. Throws up to 87 mph with clean backspin to the infield. Good traits for the spot. LHH working form an open initial stance, high handset and high back elbow, using gliding leg lift to front side pre-pitch. Deeper hands to load and works on plane to the ball with good whip and strength in the hands. Pull oriented approach is justified by continual loud contact as he lives on the barrel. Launched a couple and gets the ball in the air with ease. Bat projects and will continue to get better with physical development and added mass. Very good student as well.
