Ivan Zambrano is a 2020 3B/2B/OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Doral, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Medium build with plenty of present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a relaxed tall stance with a simple load and trigger, swings hard and gets into his strength well, short and direct swing path, has nice carry when he gets the ball into the air, ball comes off the barrel very hard, has hitting tools to continue to develop. 6.80 runner, primary infielder but graded out much higher in the outfield, has clean athletic actions in the outfield, works through the ball well with a good transition into throwing, makes very accurate throws with good carry. Mobility and speed not as evident in the infield and more of an effort thrower to generate carry, could develop into a utility type player. Signed with Eastern Florida State College.
