2024 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase
Max Leno is a 2025 RHP/MIF/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Robins, IA who attends John F Kennedy. A taller frame with some length in the lower half and a slender build. Room to keep filling out. Ran 7.32 60-yard dash. Worked out as an infielder, showing some aggressive footwork working through it. He had active feet with some quickness working to it. He covered ground well and had clean transfers working into his throws. He threw from a lower slot, working across the diamond with good accuracy in the air. Threw 82 mph across the diamond during his round of throws. A right-handed hitter who has a spread base, higher set hands and a higher back elbow in his stance. He makes an aggressive move with the front foot and was able to show off some bat speed. He worked backside in the air with some line drives during his round of BP swings. He was rotational with his lower half and able to stay quick to it with some aggression during his round of swings. Took a good round of BP swings overall and produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Excellent student. Named to 2024 Spring Midwest Workout TP List.
