Jonathan Acosta is a 2025 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Killian. Lean and athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Left handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a calm hip turn and coil, has rhythm to his swing and looseness in his hands, creates bat speed and impacts the ball out front, feel for the barrel with hard contact to all fields, has hitting tools to continue to develop. Primary middle infielder on defense, works low to the ground with athletic actions and works through the ball well, quick exchange from glove to hand, has arm strength but can improve his accuracy, athleticism shows overall defensively. Excellent student, verbal commitment to North Florida. Named to the National Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
