Jonathan Medina is a 2024 3B/RHP, MIF with a 5-10 215 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends G. Holmes Braddock. A bigger frame and bigger build with tons of strength to the operation. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder who worked out at shortstop with plenty of strength to the lower half. Moved well to get in position and worked with two hands out front. Throws were on an uphill flight. Threw 82 mph across the diamond. A right-handed hitter with high-set hands a high-back elbow. Had some length through the zone. Gets the hands in and is able to stay inside the ball and drive it. Strength off the barrel and some serious juice at impact. Plenty of strength that he uses well. Produced a 93 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working from the stretch only. He had a leg lift up above the belt. Moved well and stayed in control of his levers moving down the slope. The fastball was up to 88 mph with heavy-sinking life to the arm side. He paired that with an 11/5 curveball in the mix that worked the low-70s with good depth to the pitch. He threw from a three-quarters arm slot and mixed pitches well. Heavy fastball barrage early on, missing barrels, and giving right-handed hitters trouble with the sinker located inner third. Fielded position well. Excellent student. Named to 2023 Sunshine East TP List. Verbally committed to Maine.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
