Carson Roberts is a 2020 RHP /OF with a 6-2 183 lb. frame from Winfield, IL who attends Wheaton North HS. Tall athletic build with good present strength and plenty of room for more. Big side step to a high leg lift delivery, stays tall on his back side and gets good lower half drive to the plate, will fly open with his front side out front, will need to simplify his delivery to improve his overall command, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight with occasional sinking action, arm projects well and should continue to add velocity. Sweeping curveball shows occasional depth, developing change up. Left handed hitter, has a short inside swing from a closed from side start, has some raw bat speed and some hitting tools to develop. 7.33 runner, arm is long and loose on defense. Good student.
