Zach Leslie is a 2020 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Univ Of Chicago Lab. Medium frame with a large build and broad shoulders. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher with a high side straddle set up. Receives the ball out in font with a deliberate gain out of the stance. Compact arm action into release with accurate throws topping out at 71 miles per hour and popping a 2.05. Righthanded hitter with a wide slightly open stance and high hand set. Creates some bat speed with a balanced approach. Line drive plane working the ball to the gaps with some consistency. Will create some jump when getting contact with the barrel. Very good student as well.
