Gabriel Jacobs is a 2023 3B/RHP/UTIL with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Ponderosa. Long and lean frame with good physical projection. Ran a 7.29 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows good footwork on the dirt, gets in a good position to receive the ball and has a quick arm with good strength on throws across clocked up to 84 mph. Also pitched, has good balance to his delivery with a strong present on the mound; uses a compact arm action to release with the fastball playing mostly true in life while showing feel for a pair of breaking balls. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands and a high back elbow; generates good bat speed working inside the ball and showing the ability to create good leverage and get the ball in the air with some jump off impact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
