DeMarcos Gonzalez is a 2025 2B/RHP/C with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Premont, TX who attends Premont. Primary 2B who showed good actions out there. Medium sized frame with good athleticism. Moves well with good footwork and fluid actions. Moves well laterally and showed good range to both sides. Works around the ball well with hands that work. Has a quick transfer and release and is developing arm strength but has all the makings to be a good player on the dirt. Ran a 8.35 sixty. Also pitched throwing from the full windup. Uses a small sidestep into a belt high leg lift to get downhill. Throws from the classic 3/4 slot from a linear path with good front side direction. Showed good repeatable actions off the bump. Filled up the zone well and worked with pace. Fastball up to 75 with good life. Could locate his slider with bite and is developing more depth. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base starting slightly open. Hands dip down and rear back on the load and uses a small leg raise and rock back into contact for timing and rhythm. Found barrels to the pull side when he got on plane. Excellent student.
