Thomas Trombatore is a 2023 3B/1B, SS with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Large to Extra-Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically, making him projectable. Ran a 7.24 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, showing good first step instincts as he rounded the baseball athletically proving to have lateral range. Smooth with the glove as he scooped it up before working quickly into transfers. Accurate to the bag from multiple slots as he threw it 73 mph during drills. Feel showing for the position and projects here going forward. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and upright. Works into separation with a small hand load before firing the bat head. Stays linear through the zone with a direct path to the baseball. Does a good job staying inside the baseball as he drove it on a line to all fields. Mechanically sound swing that will make big jumps with a strength gain. Outstanding Student.
