Ryan Trout is a 2027 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-1 156 lb. frame from Bogart, GA who attends North Oconee. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and lean athletic build with room to fill. Side step with over-the-head delivery working from the third base side of the rubber. Belt-high lift with a medium arm swing to a 3/4 arm slot delivery. Direct to the plate down the slope with the ability to control the strike zone with a three-pitch mix. Ran the fastball up to 85 mph (2355 RPM) with carry through the zone. Curveball in the mid-70s (2369 RPM) and changeup around 77 mph (1520 RPM) round out his three-pitch mix. Secondary shortstop with a quick first step and athletic actions moving around. Arm strength on throws across the diamond at 88 mph with clean funnel to exchange. Easy mover working in the outfield with twitchy actions and inline momentum on throws to the bases. Accurate throws to the bases with intent at 89 mph with a quick arm and release. Recorded a 7.43 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed hitter with an even base and balanced stance. Loose hands with barrel tip during stride to impact. Relaxed and loose approach with middle-of-field impact working gap-to-gap. Excellent student.
