Nicholas Gonzalez is a 2023 SS/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Inverness, FL who attends Trinity Catholic. Medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill out. Ran a 7.57 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, has clean footwork on the dirt, rounds the ball well with athleticism to how he comes through it; shows good range to both sides and comfortable receiving the ball at all angles while showing accuracy and ease to how he throws the ball across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, sets up balanced and even in the lower half; shows some strength and bat speed at present with a fluid path to contact and some whip to the barrel. Bat to ball skills stand out with a solid swing foundation as he gets stronger. Projectable athlete who played under control and with ease throughout the event.
