2025 PG Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Cooper Patterson is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Marietta. Quick, athletic outfielder, works directly to the ball, fields with one hand and works through it, has a full arm action and throws accurate, firm throws in from a 3/4 arm slot. Hits from the right side, starts in a wide base slightly open, gets good separation in load. Fires the hands with some good bat speed, has a good feel for the barrel. Gets consistent line drive contact. Also pitchedhas a medium frame with a strong base. Lifts his leg up belt high and throws from a 3/4 slot. Throws 3 pitches for strikes, fastball worked its way up to 80 and gets in on batters quick. Curveball (2000 spin) has sharp, late break to it and misses barrels. Change-up (1500 spin) fades off arm side, works well against lefties. Threw 2 no-hit innings with 4 strikeouts. Named to the PG Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
