2024 Sunshine South Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Spencer Stevens is a 2026 MIF/UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Jones, OK who attends Oklahoma Christian. Large, square shouldered frame with some present strength and additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows quickness in feet and moves well laterally with some present range, clean two-handed gather out front and comfort to the backhand, shows carry on throws across the diamond, quickness to transfer and release; showed ability to manipulate slot to complete the play on move. Right-handed hitter, begins with an upright and even stance with a high hand set in the box. Hands are loaded back, utilizes a short stride moving into contact and shows some rhythm; longer swing path through the zone, will continue to refine a consistent path through zone. Can work to all fields, picked up a triple to the right-center field gap in live action, comes off well when balanced and on time.
