Tyler Chapman is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Westlake. Compact, medium build. Ran a 6.70 in the sixty. Shows well in outfield and first base drills. Quick first step and moves well at both spots. Confident charge with subtle carry to his throws. Good accuracy and gets onto a firm front side. Quick turns to the bag in first base drills. Good arm and accuracy, strength behind it. Also pitched, works from a high three-quarter slot and medium arm circle. Good strikes and pounded the zone. Short slider was mixed in and showed feel for it. Good fastball command throughout his outing. Left-handed hitter, open base and wide stance. Uphill path with some lift in finish. Worked the barrel to all fields and gets extended out front. More strength in store as frame develops. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
