Conner Anglin is a 2023 C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Lynnville, IN who attends Tecumseh Jr-Sr. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set behind the plate and receives the ball out front, short stride out of crouch and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into release, quick transfer into a short arm action and works on top of the ball, accurate throws with developing arm strength. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; moving parts to load through lower half. Looks to lift at point of contact and occasionally gets uphill with plane. Stays short to the ball and keeps hands inside the ball, comfort working to his pull side, gets spread through lower half with weight shift, best when staying on a linear plane. Good student.
