Joshua Sagredo is a 2021 C/RHP/IF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Tomball Memorial. Compact, lean frame with plenty of room to fill. Recorded a 7.30 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with soft hands and quick transfers, showed good arm speed with accurate throws and popped down to a 2.07 second best pop time. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works an athletic operation with quick movements, small arm circle in the back and a short arm action through a high three-quarters slot, occasional cut on the fastball and flashed feel for a breaking ball out of 11 to 5 shape with late turn and good depth. Right-handed hitter, stands tall and starts slightly closed, simple leg lift trigger, showed loose hands with feel for the barrel and good bat speed, works mostly to middle of the field with a high contact approach and developing strength.
