Fischer Einkauf is a 2024 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Port Neches, TX who attends Port Neches-Groves. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Has good athletic actions at first base on defense, moves well laterally with good balance and some quickness, good transfers on his throws, clean low 3/4's arm slot. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with good hip action moving into contact, inside swing path with his hands, works mid field to opposite with a downhill swing plane, has the hand strength to open up his swing with better extension and less emphasis on mechanics over bat speed, projects as a hitter with adjustments. Also pitched, has a clean and simple delivery that he repeats well, mid 3/4's arm slot. Threw lots of strikes with a low 70's fastball, topped out at 74 mph, with plenty of arm side run and sink. Curveball had good spin with a consistent release point and some bite, has potential as a two-way player down the road. Good student.
