Chris Fancher is a 2023 RHP/3B, 2B, 1B with a 5-7 148 lb. frame from Redwood City, CA who attends Woodside HS. Recorded an 8.49 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some size present in the lower half and lots of room to project. Throws exclusively from the stretch with a slow tempo from the start of the delivery to the release. High leg lift above the belt with a long, wrapped arm action above his head. Lower three-quarters arm slot and the fastball topped out at 72 mph. Some head violence at foot strike and did a good job at throwing strikes with the fastball. 10/4 breaking ball with softer shape and spin. Gets some good movement and break on the pitch. Feel for the corners, works quickly, and has present body control. Arm strength played well from secondary position of infield. Righthanded hitter with an even stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Arm bars in the back with a linear swing plane. Hands-oriented swing with a contact oriented approach. Middle and opposite field with a hanging leg lift trigger.
