James Vlastaris is a 2024 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Medford, NJ who attends Shawnee. Medium height with and athletic build and some strength in the lower half of hit young frame. Ran a 7.52. in the sixty yard dash. A primary pitcher, the left-hander worked from the stretch only. Higher leg lift with a short and quick arm stroke and releases from an over the top slot. Natural arm side run on the fastball, and works down in the zone. Throws a sweeping breaking ball that he can vary in shape and sharpness for strikes or swing and miss. A secondary outfielder, has good momentum throw the ball with a quick exchange and on line throws. A right-handed hitter, starts open with his base and uses a big leg kick trigger. Strength to the frame with raw bat speed, looks to pull with intent and lift.
