Jacob Ellenburg is a 2024 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Union Mills, NC who attends Rutherfordton Sprindale Central. Medium lean build with a higher waist and some strength present throughout the frame. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, full effort release across the diamond, two piece type arm action, some actions present that could project here but needs refinement, clean and smooth glove presentation out front, has some traits to like here. Right-handed hitter, wider base with a high hands and back elbow set, wrapped barrel at times, pull oriented idea, heel lift trigger mechanism, found the barrel nicely as the round progressed with a very solid end to the round with hard consistent pull-side liners, ability to turn it over. Found a solid knock in game, has a solid athletic frame and some hand speed present that can be projected on. Outstanding student.
