Alejandro Aquino is a 2020 1B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from San Juan, TX who attends Valley View HS. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter with an exaggerated closed stance, big barrel wrap to start his swing, long rotational swing with some strength behind it, recognized spin well and made adjustments at the plate. Has soft hands at first base and fields the ball cleanly with sound footwork. Very good student.
