Forrest Gunnison is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Fairhope, AL who attends Fairhope. Large frame with sloped shoulder and strength in his lower half. Only pitched at the event, right-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to an online arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, good tempo to his operation and stays online to the plate, drop and drive mechanics. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with a feel for the zone with it, can land the heater to both sides of the plate effectively, curveball has 11-5 shape and developing spin, straight changeup and some firmness to the pitch at times, solid three pitch and delivery to project on moving forward.
