Nathan Martin is a 2022 RHP/C, 3B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Eastvale, CA who attends Mater Dei. Developing build, primary pitcher with a shorter arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Uses a high leg lift and hides the ball well from his shorter actions. Fastball tops out at 80 mph while sitting mid-70's. Actions drop down then sweep towards the plate. 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball shows depth with flashes of out pitch ability. Behind the plate, uses a low set, has quick feet, crisp catching actions with solid feel for the position. Posted a 2.11 second pop time. In the infield, shows solid glove work with soft hands that work meticulously to the baseball. Uses a high leg kick trigger at the plate with an overall handsy feel. Upward plane with consistent line drive contact. Excellent student with a 4.2 GPA.
