Jackson Simko is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-10 151 lb. frame from Malvern, PA who attends Malvern Preparatory. Medium frame with square shoulders and present strength. Ran a 7.81 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Displayed athletic quick strides with a high energy close working to and through the baseball. Flashed confident glove actions fielding to the side of the baseball. Loads up on backside well working into throws using a deep pull back with a slightly uphill release with developing arm strength topping out at 71 miles per hour from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs a even stance with a high hand and back elbow set up. Starts weight transfer using a high leg lift with some inconsistent timing. Utilizes a flat bat path through the zone with quick hands and good barrel control creating consistent solid line drives to all fields. Also pitched. Exclusive stretch using a belt high leg lift staying flexed with a slight hip turn at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Uses a tall high three quarter release with crossfire actions creating some deception for the hitter. Flashed three different pitches including a fastball with control topping out at 69 miles per hour to go along with a rolling curveball for consistent strikes at 61 miles per hour and a changeup with fading actions at 62 miles per hour.
