Carter Conroy is a 2022 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Cain. Recorded a 7.56 second 60 yard dash time. High-waisted frame with a long and lean build, has good physical projection. Primary first baseman, moves well laterally and works low to it. Sure handed glove with sound footwork. Has awareness around the bag, made some nice picks during the drills. Right-handed hitter with quick hands and good bat speed. High intent swinger, inside bat path, simple leg lift trigger and even stance. Tends to collapse the backside, will improve as he quiets down the operation and becomes more consistent. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a compact delivery and solid balance throughout. Quick arm from a high three-quarters slot, good whip to the release and extends well. Great sink and run life to the fastball, comes clean and easy out of the hand. Works with tempo, maintains the same release and arm speed on the changeup with late arm side fade. Shows a tight curveball with short depth and bite. Pounded the zone, both secondary pitches play well off the fastball, solid projection on the mound. Excellent student.
