Brek Baranoski is a 2022 SS/3B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Plainfield, IL who attends Joliet Catholic Academy. Recorded a 7.24 second 60 yard dash time. Good-sized prospect, broad frame with projection and strength to the build. Primary shortstop, works the hands out front with a clean funnel to the center. Shows a sure handed glove and clean footwork with the ability to drop slot on the move. Good on the charge, athletic movements, body really projects. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and leg lift trigger, hands stay close to the helmet prior to launch. Very quick hands with present bat speed, solid balance and extension in the swing. Aggressive approach, looks to elevate towards his pull side. Solid all-around athlete with a great chance to improve. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
