Maddex Soto is a 2024 RHP/C/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Beckman. Solid athletic build for his age with good present strength. Low hand delivery coming to a high 3/4's arm slot, works way down the mound and loses his leverage and plane out front at release. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Curveball was his best pitch, gets good 11/5 depth at times, tends to use curveball late in counts to try to put away hitters. 7.62 runner, played both in field and outfield in the drills. Right handed hitter, loads to his back side from a spread stance, upper body arm swing, gets the ball in the air with some future power potential.
