Dalton Reeves is a 2022 1B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Bloomfield, IA who attends Davis County Community. Extra large frame with broad shoulders and present strength in build. Ran a 7.92 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary first baseman. Sits back some and fields the ball out front with a short funnel to the body. Short arm action in the back working through a more extended release. Developing arm strength across the diamond topping out at 66 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an even stance utilizing a leg lift trigger for timing. Drifts into contact with linear actions to the ball. Creates some torque in the hips while working to the baseball with quickness in hands. Best contact came when staying in the middle of the field. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into a high leg lift. Works in line to the plate at foot plant. Compact arm action in the back with a long over the top release. Fastball created slight downhill plane from slot topping out at 70 miles per hour. Also works in a short 11-to-5 curveball in the low 60's. Excellent student as well.
