Ashford Fowler is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Moody, AL who attends Moody. A primary right-handed pitcher with a medium athletic build. On the mound he works from the stretch only with a medium arm stroke working up to a high three-quarters slot with good extension out front allowing him to work down hill to the plate. The fastball sat 77-81 mph getting to both halves as he showed good control early. The changeup and curveball both landed for strikes early with the changeup showing as the better secondary as it fades arm side, the curveball showed 11-5 shape with efficient spin that projects fine. Excellent student.
