Anthony Masiello is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Parkland, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Large young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Long extended arm action, shows the ball in back, loose arm coming through with an extended 3/4's arm slot. Low to mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph. Pitches off his secondary pitches, very nice change up with feel and nice late life, big breaking curveball with quality spin and bite, has plus feel for his secondary pitches and pitches backwards with intent. Will be very interesting if he gets stronger and even a bit more velocity kicks in. Verbal commitment to Miami.
