Landon Mills is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 5-10 235 lb. frame from Ruby, SC who attends Chesterfield. Medium frame with strong, mature build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.47 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, looseness to arm stroke to three quarters slot, extreme crossfire in lower half, restricted plant leg, creates angles, fastball worked 77-81 mph with good arm side life, worked in curveball with sweeping shape. Hits with middle-field approach on line drive plane, worked up the middle and the opposite way, did a good job executing approach. Took defensive reps at 1st base, solid funnel out front, hands work well, turns well, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Very good student.
