Nolan Folks is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 5-10 148 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends Wentzville Holt. Medium frame with a lean build and plenty of room to fill out. Ran a 7.79 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, has a good idea on the mound and knows how to pitch. Works quickly, has a high leg lift and strides closed while working over his front side well; uses a full arm action through a high three-quarters slot with some arm speed while generating some downhill action to the fastball at times. Mixed in a sweeping breaking with good depth and garnered weak contact with it. Also plays the outfield, has simple actions with limited momentum through receiving but enough arm strength to generate some carry on accurate throws. Left-handed hitter, sets up even, works short and direct to the ball using an accurate barrel to generate consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field.
