Grant Wren is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Melbourne, AR who attends Melbourne. Tall and lean build with long levers and a high waist. Good rhythm to the windup, side steps to a medium leg lift, compact arm action in the back to a straight over-the-top release. Fastball has been commanded best in the bottom of the zone, opened up in the 87-89 mph range and got up to 91 mph (2045 RPM). Developing true feel to spin curveball in the upper-70s (1939 RPM). He's flashed the ability to land it in the zone for strikes early on in counts. Also threw a changeup in the upper-70s with good fading action later on in the outing. Tons of projection and arm speed that will continue to get better as he develops spin. Commitment to Arkansas.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
