Hunter Porche is a 2021 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Houma, LA who attends Vandebilt Catholic. Shows good speed and athleticism, running a 6.68-second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with an athletic frame and present strength in the lower half. Has a clean and athletic approach to the ball, fielding off the front foot and showing good fluidity to the fielding actions. Has present arm strength, showcasing some good arm speed from an over the top slot and making good throws to bases at 90 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts from a spread and even stance, with a simple leg lift trigger and good linear shift to contact. Swings with intent to drive the baseball, showcasing an all fields approach and flashing some good jump off the barrel. Has a compact hand path, using present bat speed to be on time and at a strong position at contact. Secondary right-handed pitcher that has a deliberate delivery with a simple side step into a good balance position. Creates some downhill plane to the fastball from a high three-quarter slot, attacking the strike zone at 83-87 mph. Shows good feel for a 12-6 curveball with good depth and sharp action in the low-70s, freezing hitters at times for a good first secondary offering. Also mixed in a short cutter in the low-80s with sharp horizontal tilt. Shows some two-way potential here, good student and was named to the 2020 Sunshine South Showcase, Top Prospect List.
