Gibbs White is a 2027 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Northport, AL who attends Tuscaloosa Co. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, catches the ball clean with a two hand funnel out front, longer exchanges into a deep arm path, high slot release and generates quality carry across the diamond, recorded throws up to 86 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, short side step into a shallow leg lift, arm works well to a high three-quarters release point. Has whip to the arm and featured a three pitch mix. Fastball worked in the low-80s, topping at 84 mph (1938 RPM) and showed good feel for both a curveball, up to 72 mph (2304 RPM) and a changeup, up to 76 mph (1500 RPM). Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands and an open front side in the stance, level to uphill path to contact and flashed ability to lift to the middle of the field. Worked mostly to the pull-side with hard liners. Good student. Named to the Deep South High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.
