Christian Azcona is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Piscataway, NJ who attends Saint Joseph. Recorded a 5.22 second forty-yard dash. The primary shortstop is tall with an athletic frame and steps with good lateral movements that create good angles on the ball alongside his smooth, easy transfer and quick release while accurately throwing across the diamond at 72 mph. The left handed hitter steps into the box with an even and wide stance, high hands, and a high back elbow. Azcona has a bent back leg with a low coiled leg lift trigger, a short stride, and good hip rotation as he throws his hands at the ball generating a nice level swing working the ball gap the gap.
