Phoenix Wood is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Saint Joseph, MO who attends Savannah. Young athletic build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. 8.37 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low behind the plate, rotational thrower with a low arm slot, has some young carry on his throws, still working on his glove position and receiving ability. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand load, uphill swing plane that consistently got the ball in the air, projects some power as he adds strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
