Ethan Thomas is a 2023 OF/C/UT with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Jarvisburg, NC who attends Currituck County. Medium frame with a strong build proving to be athletic. Ran a 7.19 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder working well into the baseball showing smooth footwork. Gathers it and then shows extra steps into shuffle. Accurate arm with some whip to it showing carry. Raw mechanics for the position but good feel for it. Secondary Infielder with young feel for it. Sits back on the baseball and then gathers it deep. Big windup on throws while showing to be accurate. Secondary Catcher starting from a side saddle. Reaches for the baseball out front on throw downs and then works upright. Uphill release on throws. Recorded a 2.03 second pop time. Lefthanded hitter showing a big coil and load before unwinding. Bat speed showing as he goes all out on each swing. Finds the barrel often and creates loud pop when he gets extended. Great Student. Named to Fall Atlantic Coast Top Prospect List.
