Maddox McKinley is a 2022 C/MIF/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Benbrook. Compact frame with a slender build and room to add moving forward. Ran a 7.63 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Sets up in a low stance to start. Receives out in front and into a long exchange. Extended arm action in the back into a compact three-quarter slot. Throws topping out at 67 MPH and popping a 2.25 second 60-yard dash. Also worked out as a secondary infielder. Moves well to the ball fielding out in front and into a funnel up. Developing arm strength in throws topping out at 70 MPH. Also worked out from the outfield. Deliberate close to and through the baseball. Fields to the side and into a slow arm action. Uphill release topping out at 73 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a slightly closed off stance to start. Long sweeping leg lift trigger for timing. Level swing path through the zone. Spraying line drive contact to all fields when able to get the barrel head through.
