Victor Izquierdo is a 2022 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Crest Hill, IL who attends Lockport Township East. Big and strong athletic build, very strong for a freshman. 7.80 runner, played both catcher and first base, athleticism played best at present at first base but can still develop as a catcher, has sound fundamental footwork behind the plate, gains ground well on his throws, can improve lower half flexibility and quickness, has some arm strength that will continue to improve. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with good balance through his swing, line drive swing plane, has some bat speed and can make the ball jump when squared up, projects well as a hitter.
