Vincent Lepore is a 2023 2B/SS, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends Lake Mary. Medium, square shouldered frame with some lean muscle throughout and room to add strength. Primary middle-infielder with deliberate movements into the fielding process, a clean funnel out in-front and accurate throws across the diamond. Composed actions throughout, gathers cleanly and works through the baseball into release. Recorded arm strength up to 67 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with an exaggerated high hand start, high back elbow and small forward stride into contact. Slightly downhill swing path with contact oriented approach and developing bat-to-ball skills. Occasional line drives to the pullside and middle-of-the field, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.
