Andres Morales is a 2023 2B/RHP with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends Oviedo. Ran a 7.50 second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman fields the ball out front with decent glove actions and quick steps as he ranges to the ball throwing 82 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher has a full wind up with a sidestep and moves into a chest high leg lift while remaining well-balanced over the back side. Morales has an over-the-top arm slot and keeps the ball down in the zone topping 78 mph alongside a changeup at 68 mph with good fading action. The right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an even and slightly open stance, high hands, and a high back elbow with a simple load and stride. Morales throws his hands at the ball with good barrel control while working the ball up the middle as he is developing backspin on the ball. Outstanding student.
