Caleb Hall is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Hamilton, MS who attends Hamilton HS. Tall and slender build for his age, projects well physically and shows lots of present athleticism despite his lean build. 7.62 runner, moves well from side to side on defense and showed he could throw comfortably and with arm strength from different arm slots. Right handed hitter, tall stance with a short swing, flashes some beginning bat speed when he can turn on the ball and pull it, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event, very good tempo to his delivery and creates nice downhill plane from a 3/4's arm slot, repeated his delivery very well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, filled up the bottom of the strike zone with his fastball with plenty of arm side run. Curveball showed tight spin and 11/5 biting action from the same arm slot. Created lots of weak contact. Should be considered a primary pitcher at least until he gets stronger, has a potential high ceiling on the mound.
